Profile: A delicately sweet rosé, this wine opens with aromas of ripe strawberries, rose
petals, and a hint of lychee. On the palate, juicy red berry flavors are
complemented by subtle floral spice and a touch of honeyed tropical fruit, thanks
to the whisper of Gewürztraminer. It’s natural playful acidity perfectly balances the
sweetness, making it a perfect dessert wine that can also be enjoyed on its own.
Vintage: 2024 was a textbook year for winemaking.
The growing season kicked off with heavy winter rains, which saturated soils and
laid a foundation for healthy vegetative growth, preparing the vines for expansive
heat events from June through harvest. Harvest kicked off with perfect timing,
earlier than the cooler, late, and logistically challenging 2023. The entirety of
August had optimal growing conditions, with warm (but not extremely hot) days that
ensured perfect ripeness and flavor development, combined with cold nights which
preserved the natural acidity of the wines.
